There are more than one billion people worldwide living with a disability, all of whom deserve to be able to access information, contribute to the workforce and participate in public life without facing barriers. Our goal is to encourage organisations to #EmbedAccessibility at the core of their procedures, promotions and communications.
Every year on May 18th, Global Accessibility Awareness Day is celebrated internationally to create intentional change around issues of accessibility and inclusion, with a focus on digital spaces. Employers for Change has been actively working towards a greater understanding of these principles, developing a toolkit and training programme on Inclusive and Accessible Communications.

While Universal Design focuses on environments which can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability, we also want to raise awareness of the importance of accessibility that goes beyond physical spaces.
